the reason...
Well...on Friday my daughter got sick for the first time in her life and I spent the next 24 hours chasing her around the house with a tissue...on Saturday I had caught the bug as well and still have it without any let up and so does my wife...the only person who's not sick in my extended family (my parents live nearby) is my rug rat daughter...our house is a one big tissue box!

Hope you and family get better soon! It usually happens in our house right around when school starts and kids catch things at school. Soon, everyone is sick. Wish you well!
Thanks Manjit! yep! it's just like that. we are fortunate enough that we haven't had to resort to any sort of daycare...yet but my wife took her to her gym and they have a daycare thingie and that's where she got it from and now we're all messed up. all i want to do is sleep.
i don't know if i mentioned but i'll most likely be going to Punjab in Feb. 06. you want anything? :)
anyone have any "Kothis" for rent in Punjab for a month or any sort of good(toilet, shower, internet) rental accomodations please let me know.

I am touched that you ask if I needed anything! Just take a lot of pictures and share with us. Oh! don't forget to find some Punjabi/Gurmukhi to English dictionary or even a English to Punjabi (which can be scanned and reverse engineered for the your project). Thanks again!

Manraj, absolutely! I'm hoping that in the near future (God Willing!) this won't be "my blog" anymore. it'll be taken over by others. we need all the help we can get...especially in the creativity field. so if you know any creative(arts) people let me know.
manjit, we're calling people every week (for the dictionary) to find a person/company who'll sell it to us.
but this whole week i didn't feel so good...i didn't want to do anything and just wanted to stay in bed and did so today until 11:30 am...(that's late for people who have kids!):)...i guess i haven't gotten over the bug completely or maybe caught something else when i took the little one to the doctor's this friday and waited in the "sick room". whatever it is...am feeling wiped out...for no aparent reason!
anyways...i'm up working in my bed...:)...for those of you who are wondering...yes, i sleep in a different room on weekends...

Now you are getting me worried, especially working out of bed. You've got to take a break from this blog and computer. Keep the little one on lot of fluids. Take care and hope to not see your comments on thsi blog till you are fully recovered! I know it is addicting.
Canot offer you a kothi, but can suggest the hotel sekhon grand if you're planning to stay in Jallandhar. It's a pretty decent well run place and price and location isn't too bad. I think they now have a website as well.
